The keynote speaker will be Pardeep Kaleka, speaker, activist, and founder of Serve2Unite. Kaleka is the eldest son of Satwant Singh Kaleka-the president of the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, who was gunned down during the attacks on the Sikh Temple on August 5, 012. Kaleka grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Marquette University. He is a certified teacher and a former police officer for the city of Milwaukee. In addition, Rev. Tony Larsen, pastor of Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church will speak. Larsen is the catalyst for the candlelight vigils following acts of violence in our community. Included will be inspiring music by local artists and Compassion Stories from several Vietnam Veterans.
