Points of Light with project management support from Volunteer Fairfax will commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11 with a Volunteer Service Fair. Volunteers of all ages will participate in eight mini-service projects and a moment of reflection to create a better, kinder, and more peaceful word. The activities are family-friendly and will provide service-learning opportunities for all who attend.
Through the 9/11 Day of Service, we will demonstrate the power of intergenerational service, honor those who lost their lives on 9/11 and in the conflicts that ensued, and engage youth to envision the changes they want to see in the world.
